Tuesday 12th December Racing

Every Tuesday, I’ll be on SEN Track to pick out some interesting races worth running an eye over. On the radio, we’ll mostly be reacting to late market moves, but there is enough to mention right now.

Hamilton is where we begin our day of racing this fine Tuesday, and it is all about Race 2 with multiple runners receiving backing from the early punters. #3 Home Sweet Home who will be making his debut as the favourite coming into this race, so there isn’t much to work off of other than market movement, which is working in his favour. #1 Beam Reach comes into this with only three races in his career, with a decent 1st-up record. #6 Aolani has finished in the top 5 in all three career starts. Will be coming into this a lot fresher and fitter and if she is afforded a decent start, she is a top three contender.

Next up, we make our way to Wagga for Race 3 where the small field could see there being a surprise come the final results. Although, the #8 Salute Again is a $1.90 favourite (at the time of publishing), #1 Northernero has been getting all the attention from punters. Fought off strong contenders and rivals to win last start and comes into this with a lot of confidence behind him to go back-to-back. The favourite will be coming into this fresh and was racing in terrific form before going on break and has also been racing quite well in his trials.

Tamworth Race 3 is up next where so far this morning it is shaping up to be quite an interesting race. # 6 Are You Joking is the clear favourite coming into this with the majority of bets in this race coming in for him. Has been impressive at his first three race starts and looks well placed here to go on with it today, especially has he will be coming into this a lot fitter and with a favourable draw. #5 Capital Gamble is racing in some great form and looks set for a win. If she is afforded some space come the final bend, she definitely has a chance to get another win in her record.

Lastly, we finish off our day at Kilcoy for Race 4 where it is all about the #1 Scenic Rim who drops in grade and looks a genuine chance to make it a hat-trick of wins. He also gets all the favours from the number one gate and should go from barrier to finish without any problem. The traders are also really liking the look of #8 Tomboy’s Spirit who has been racing quite consistently of late. Will be returning back to turf for today but she is an on pace runner, so is she starts well and tracks the pace, she is a definite chance to finish on the podium.

Thanks for following along, and don’t forget to tune into SEN Track to hopefully snag some wins. BOOM!
