Tuesday 17th October

Every Tuesday, I’ll be on SEN Track to pick out some interesting races worth running an eye over. On the radio, we’ll mostly be reacting to late market moves, but there is enough to mention right now.

Starting off our Tuesday of racing at Newcastle for Race 3, all the early money has been coming in for the favourite today the #1 Alvina’s Luck. She has been hit or miss lately due to her weakness being at the start of races. However, the rise in distance and quick back-up will aid her tremendously today as she is able to build in her race rather than being hindered back if she starts off poorly. #4 Outcast Girl is back from a break but has been trialling extremely well. She is highly skilled when it comes to sprinting to the end so if she gets space come the final straight, I’d expect her to give the leaders a challenge.

Next up we make our way to Kilmore for Race 4 where its looking set to be quite an open race will multiple runners capable of coming away with a win. #13 Maggie Rose has received some significant attention from punters this morning which is surprising as she happens to be making her debut. However, she profiles and tracks well so let’s see how she goes. However, the standout for this race in my opinion is the #5 Innocent Moves who is in some incredible form and looks set to finally get her maiden win after 6 placings out of a career 9 starts. In terms of value, I quite like the #8 Royal Mule who is also making its debut but has been trailing extremely well and if she gets some late market support, I’d be looking out for that action.

Staying at Kilmore for Race 5 the #1 Macedonian Marvel has seen all the early action come in him and with him being away for a while, from a pricing point of view there is a lot of appeal for him especially with his recent trial performances. #13 Ode to Joy by far the favourite in this one with recent placings and has been rewarded with a decent draw. Does like to sit before finding space but with the good draw I expect her to be thereabouts throughout the race.

Lastly, we end our day back in Newcastle for Race 6. Where its no surprises that all the money coming in for this race has been straight to the short-priced favourite the #12 Koning. He has been knocking on the door in all 3 of his careers starts by either attempting to lead throughout and gassing or staying win the leaders throughout and not finding space. Should be too easy for him and should be the clear winner if the fitness holds up. In terms of value I like the #2 Killsy who just narrowly lost last start but the Newcastle track should suit him very well.

Thanks for following along, and don’t forget to tune into SEN Track to hopefully snag some wins. BOOM!
