Every Tuesday, I’ll be on SEN Track to pick out some interesting races worth running an eye over. On the radio, we’ll mostly be reacting to late market moves, but there is enough to mention right now.
Starting off our day of racing, we make our way to Bendigo for Race 4, where the majority of money coming in are going for the #7 Autumn Slide. the two career starts and was solid late on debut at Benalla before placing third at Donald. She does like to stay off the midfield but if the leaders go too hard, I’m sure that she will be there to swoop if the opportunity arise. #4 Fields of Jenni has been racing well since coming back from a break. Despite the good results, they haven’t been as exciting as expected as she tends to just get beaten at the end. This field is her best chance to come away with a win so the start of the race will be the key.
On to Corowa for Race 3 which so far is shaping up to be quite an open and interesting race field. #1 Just Like Liam who comes into this as the short-priced favourite who is on a quick seven day back up and looks the one to beat going off his current form. He does like to stalk the speed before making his move so I will be expecting nothing less. #7 Persian Dancer won this track and distance 2 runs back and then ran well last start to place. There have been a little market movement for her, and she looks set to receive some more backing come the jump as she offers some nice value.
Back to Bendigo for Race 6 where it is all about the #7 Stardealt this morning. Coming into this one for only its second career start but he was impressive on debut to make good ground come the end of the race and clinching a 3rd place result. Will be running slightly further but the rise in distance will work in his favour, and he looks primed to take out his maiden win. #9 Tycoon Lad has also been receiving some attention. He has been blessed with the inside draw and if he uses his pace to lead early on and his fitness holds out, he could steal this from the favourite.
Lastly, we will be ending our day of racing at Narromine for Race 5 where it is looking set to be quite an open race. The money coming in is spread out with the market not willing to back a certain runner early in the day. My value pick would be for the #8 Illusive Star who is making her third start under her new stable. Last start she jumped out well to take the lead but unfortunately ran out of steam towards the end to finish fourth. Will be dropping back in class and does get an ideal inside draw and if she turns up at her peak, she screams value. #10 Luna Eagle is also looking like a strong prospect where she has been knocking on the door without landing a strong winning blow. Will need to have a strong overall race to come away with a second win.
Thanks for following along, and don’t forget to tune into SEN Track to hopefully snag some wins. BOOM!
