14th November Racing

Every Tuesday, I’ll be on SEN Track to pick out some interesting races worth running an eye over. On the radio, we’ll mostly be reacting to late market moves, but there is enough to mention right now.

To start off our day of Tuesday racing, we get underway at Mornington for Race 2 where it is looking like quite an overcast day in Victoria! The favourite #2 Twotoodlou has been receiving all the attention for early punters. He has been running nicely over 2000m while gaining some experience over those distances. Was quite positive towards the end of his last race and with the extra distance this time out the late swoop could be on for him. #9 Perdiz looks like some good value after ending her last race well when being stuck with the backmarkers after a bad start. For some value, #2 Lonestar Charlie has performed well over this distance previously, however, has been lacklustre since then. If he gets a good start and performs well in the wet conditions, he could be a contender for the podium positions.

Next up we make our way to Gosford for Race 4 where so far, the market is suggesting that we could be in for quite an open race. #2 Border Control looks like he will be coming into this one quite strongly. He loves racing here and will be looking to make it two-for-two here since coming back from a lengthy spell. #1 Shotmaker has also been receiving a little bit of backing from the early punters. Performed well last start when coming from last to finish fourth. Will be looking to start his run a tad earlier this time round. The favourite #5 Stenson Wallman is coming into this undefeated, however, this will be his first race bad after a 3-month break.

Staying at Gosford for Race 5 and all the attention is going towards the #13 Tigon Princess after winning a recent trial and being drawn with Gate 1 had caught the eye of punters. #9 Cosy Corner is clearly coming into this as the strong favourite after placing in three out of a five career starts. Follows the speed extremely well and is afforded the right run, I wouldn’t be surprised if the favourite gets up.

Finally, we finish off our day back in Mornington for Race 7 where the market seems to be split between the #2 Innocent Enuff and #4 Rock Melody. Innocent Enuff will be resuming after a break but was strong here at Mornington before the spell. Should come into this and perform well. Rock Melody looks to be very quick and has proven that by missing the post by a whisker two back. The small field will suit and the quick pace she runs in could pose a challenge to the others.

Thanks for following along, and don’t forget to tune into SEN Track to hopefully snag some wins. BOOM!
