SATURDAY NRL BOOMS

Boom Best
Cronulla -22.5 v Canterbury ($2.00)
The Sharks have been off the map since the market opened with this line moving from -12.5 to -22.5 and looks to be heading in just one direction. Cronulla have a great record off a big win, covering five straight off a win of more than seven and eight of 10 off a win of 20-plus. The Bulldogs have covered just 4 of 14 off a loss and just 6 of 16 getting a start of more than eight points.

Boom Value
Matt Ikuvalu 2+ Tries ($2.50)
Matt Ikuvalu is sneakily one of the best tryscorers in the NRL over the last two seasons – when he gets a chance in the top grade. He has scored four tries in four games this year including a double last week. He now has 18 tries in his last 19 games and with the Sharks heavily favoured he looks good for two.

Boom Boom
Joseph Tapine Try ($4.20)
Tapine does not score a lot of tries but the hard-running prop won’t get an easier matchup than he does against Manly this week. He scored against the Titans three games back and looks excellent value to get across this week in a plus-matchup.
