WORLD MATCHPLAY QUARTER FINALS BOOMS

Peter Wright v Dimitri Van Den Bergh
Dimitri Van Den Bergh Win ($1.96)
There is no doubt that Peter Wright manages to find gears at major events. That is how he has won the last two World Championships and last year’s World Match Play. The fact remains though that he has been disappointing this season and is vulnerable against the Belgian who comes off a 10-2 annihilation of Callan Rydz in the opening round. There is nothing between these two when it comes to key stats and Van Den Bergh has been winning more so happy to plump the outsider.

Michael Van Gerwen v Nathan Aspinall
Nathan Aspinall Win ($2.36)
The Asp has quite a good record against MVG and presents plenty of value in this after being off the boil for a long-time. MVG has just an 8-5 edge with Aspinall winning their only clash this year. MVG has the scoring edge but Aspinall is miles ahead in terms of checkout percentage. If he can avoid those horrid returns he is going to give this a good shake.
