Viktor Hovland ($21)
Hovland may be from Norway but has been a resident of Stillwater, Oklahoma since playing his college golf at Oklahoma State and with Tulsa just up the road this is as close to a hometown major as he could hope for. He is an elite ball stroker who ranks 3rd in Strokes Gained: Approach and is particularly good with his long irons. Top 13 finishes at the 2019-20 US Opens is a good guide as are Top 3 finishes in the 2022 Arnold Palmer Invitational and 2021 Valspar. If he chips decently he is right in the mix.

Matthew Fitzpatrick ($51)
Scrambling is going to be absolutely critical at Southern Hills and few are as good around the greens as Englishman Matt Fitzpatick. Fitzpatrick ranks 3rd in Scrambling and he mixes that with an excellent game tee to green ranking sixth in strokes gained in that statistic.

Chris Kirk ($201)
One of the best guides for Southern Hills is form at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Kirk has finished Top 8 the last two years. He also has recent Top 20 finishes in Phoenix and Pebble Beach. Ranking 10th on Tour in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green, he can feature at big odds.
