GOLF BOOMS

AT&T Byron Nelson
Sam Burns Win ($21)
A strong game tee-to-green and a hot putter are the keys to success at TPC Craig Ranch and no player fits that bill better than Sam Burns. Burns ranks 7th in Putting Average, 7th in Birdie or Better, 10th in GIR and 18th in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green. The St Jude is one of the better guides here and he finished 2nd at the most recent staging at TPC Southwind.

Soudal Open
Thomas Pieters Win ($21)
The DP World Tour returns to Belgium for the first time in three years and we are looking at a local to win the newly-formed Soudal Open. It looks like a strong game tee to green and form around the greens is critical and Pieters ranks 3rd in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green and 4th in Scrambling. Pieters has won two of his last five starts on the DP World Tour.

Cognizant Founders Cup
Nanna Madsen Win ($31)
A recent winner at the Honda LPGA Thailand tournament, Madsen has been outstanding this year with five Top 17 finishes in seven starts. Madsen has just four rounds over par since February while she ranks 3rd in Scoring Average. Madsen ranks 2nd in Driving Distance and 13th in Putts Per GIR.

Regions Tradition
Steven Alker Win ($5.50)

New Zealander Steven Alker, who at best can be described as a journeyman, has become near unstoppable since joining the Champions Tour. He has won twice on Tour this year – in his last three starts – and has five Top 10s from seven starts. In his current form he has to be clearly on top.
