SATURDAY NRL BOOMS

Boom Best
Melbourne -13.5 ($1.88) v Canberra
The Storm played their first game with a close-to full strength team and destroyed the Bulldogs. The Storm cover at 65% away from AAMI and are 13-6 against the spread when away from AAMI and favoured by more than 12 points. With three straight wins of 10 or more against the Raiders, Melbourne look primed for a comfortable win.

Boom Value
South Sydney 19+ ($3.10) v St George Illawarra
Souths have been dominant against St George Illawarra with seven straight wins, 16 wins in the last 19 meetings and six straight wins at Accor. Souths have covered eight of the last 10 clashes. Anthony Griffin has persisted with some ordinary team changes. After a tough stretch Souths will be looking for a big win to build confidence.
Boom-o-meter: 70%

Boom Boom
Ryan Papenhuyzen 2+ Tries ($4.20)
Papenhuyzen is the most pure tryscorer in the NRL and comes off running rampant against the Bulldogs where he scored four tries. He has a fantastic strike rate when he starts and with dry conditions forecast against a poor defensive team, the Storm fullback should have a field day.
Boom-o-meter: 55%
