WEDNESDAY RACING BOOMS

Best of the Best
Warwick Farm Race 4 (3.30pm)
4 Pale King ($6.50)
Team Hawkes 3yo who has been around the mark of late. Sneaky good in Saturday grade last time out. Won only go at the trip.
Boom-o-meter: 70%

Strathalbyn Race 5 (4.30pm)
5 Sabaku
Phillip Stokes mare who was excellent fresh when winning by 1.2L at Gawler. Was off the map. Only fair last time out but looks to have panels on this lot.
Boom-o-meter: 60%

Sandown Race 5 (4.50pm)
1 Sense Of Honour ($2.30)
Fascinating runner who resumes after 21 months on the sidelines. Won two of three including beating the handy Standoff. Jamie Kah taking the ride seems a very good guide, as has the early money.
Boom-o-meter: 85%

Eagle Farm Race 5 (4.58pm)
7 Edmonton ($4.40)
Waller 3yo who has been very good since coming back. Won maiden by 1.3L on Gold Coast and followed up with a win over a mile, not easy to do. Blinkers go on. Ticks a lot of boxes.
Boom-o-meter: 75%

Ascot Race 8 (7.50pm)
2 Invictus Domini ($2.80)
Consistent George Dupre veteran who has finished in the quinella in eight of 10 career starts. Resumes here and never missed a place first-up. Comes off two nice trials.
Boom-o-meter: 90%

Best Exotic
Warwick Farm Race 7
Quinella: 1,5
No.1 Dragonstone was very good last preparation winning two of three starts and running some very good times. He was only fair fresh but is back down in grade and has an excellent second-up record. No.5 Sky Command won three starts back and was good two runs back before up in grade and midfield behind the quality Mazu.
Boom-o-meter: 50%
