Western United, who have the best defence in the competition, will have to hold back the likes of Bobo and Adam Le Fondre. This shapes as a crucial game both teams, with a win for either team will cement their spots for the finals.

Melbourne City v Melbourne Victory

Another huge game this weekend where the Melbourne Derby takes place on Saturday night. Victory, who missed last weeks game to travel to Japan for the AFC qualifiers will want to bring back their confidence in front of goal, scoring three goals against Japanese giants Vissel Kobe. Melbourne City had a chance last week to go outright 1st on the ladder, but missed the opportunity with a 2-2 draw against Western United. They will not be short of goals this week, with Jamie Maclaren again continuing his great goal scoring form.

The Mariners host Macarthur in Gosford this week, with the Mariners coming of a scoreless draw mid-week in Perth against the Glory. Macarthur on the other hand will go into the game coming off a good 3-1 victory against the Wanderers. With Davila firing in front of goal, they will be hard to beat.

The battle of the bottom two teams awaits us this weekend where the Glory take on the Brisbane Roar. Perth will have the fans behind their back for the third consecutive week, with Bruno Fornaroli, who just accepted a call up to the Socceroos will be up and firing.
