THURSDAY NRL BOOMS

Boom Best
Melbourne -8 v South Sydney ($1.90)
Melbourne have dominated this matchup with 25 wins in the last 28 meetings. Souths have never actually won in Melbourne. In the last five meetings, four have been Storm wins by more than eight points with the last win a ridiculous 50-0 victory. Souths get Latrell Mitchell back but the Storm get plenty of their cavalry back including Cameron Munster, Harry Grant and Jesse Bromwich. Souths have a ways to go and the Storm is not the team to make that progress against.
Boom-o-meter: 80%

Boom Value
Jahrome Hughes Try ($3.40)
Hughes is a quality tryscoring halfback who is usually big value in the ‘To Score A Try’ market. He has 26 tries his last 68 games and was dynamic in the opener, turning the game against the Tigers. Souths also conceded to Hughes the last time the teams met.
Boom-o-meter: 65%

Boom Boom
Ryan Papenhuyzen 2+ Tries ($5.00)
Storm fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen is a try scoring machine and one who can turn singles into multiples. In his short career he has six games with two or more tries including two of his last four. One of those doubles came against Souths.
Boom-o-meter: 35%
