NBA: 76ers v Cavaliers
The 76ers have had a highly publicized couple of weeks, with the trade of Ben Simmons in exchange for James Harden. Harden has had a successful transition to the 76ers, averaging 22.8 points per game. Sadly the same can’t be said for the Cavs. With an injury stricken team, making it difficult to oconvert. The Cavs have lost the past two games, with injuries striking essential players such as Rondo. With this all in mind, I will be backing the 76ers.
Racing: Randwick Guineas
This Saturday down at Randwick, we have the million dollar race up for grabs! We have the favourite Anamoe at $1.64, with the colt in hot pursuit of the Guineas after taking out the Caulfield Guineas last year. We have two other close contenders, Converge and Hilal. Both horses have been praised by their trainers, stating they are both training and improving dramatically. My money however is on Anamoe to take out the race, with Converge and Hilal a close second or third.
A League: Western Sydney Wanderers v Sydney FC
The Sydney Derby this week looms to be an interesting contest, with heavy rain over the week could come in play when these two clash on Saturday night. Both teams come into the game having lost their last two games respectively, a win for the Wanderers will move them further away from the bottom of the table, while a win for Sydney will cement their spot in the top six. Sydney will hope for their stars to excel this week, with both Milos Ninkovic and Adam LeFondre looking to find the back of the net.
