Absolute star who looked a good thing in the Cox Plate before being scratched. Won two G1s including a win over Probabeel and a win over Cascadian. Won only start Flemington in the G1 Mackinnon. Looks very hard to beat.

Underrated Phillip Stokes mare who has won here last two. Dominant at Gawler two starts back and then so tough last time when should have been beat. Trialled since. Peak fitness and perfectly suited.

Quality veteran who has not shown a lot at first two runs in but was sneaky good at black type level last start. Loves this trip, loves this track and can win on the wet by finding fast lane down the outside.

Outstanding resuming at LR level last start after seven weeks away from the track to flash home to be beaten less than a length. The step out in trip is ideal and Harvey is an elite jockey. Looks a great price.

Exacta: 2-1
No.1 Nature Strip and No.2 Eduardo are the only two chances here and will clear out. No value in the quinella but fancy Eduardo can get Nature Strip after the latter’s gutbuster last start when missing the kick.
