American who profiles well here and has form on some key correlation courses. A strong iron game is likely the key here. Crocker ranks 4th in GIR and 7th in Strokes Gained: Approach. The course also has five Par 5s and he ranks 3rd on the DP World Tour in Par 5 Scoring. Emerging Thai star who loves the Tanjong Course in Sentosa. She finished 8th here as a 15yo in this event and won the Asia Pacific Amateur here. She is now a Top 20 player and already has three wins in just 31 starts. Accurate from the tee and with a strong iron game, she looks perfectly suited here.

South African who won here in 2020 by two strokes. A strong iron game and a hot putter will be keys at Newport Beach. Els finished last season ranked third in GIR and Top 10 in Putting Average. Two Top 10s in three tournaments this year.
