NBL BOOM BETS

Boom Best
Perth +1.5 at Sydney ($1.85)
Perth have been middling in 2022 with a 3-3 record this year. They were particularly disappointing in a 15-point loss to the Kings on January 30. A 22-point win over the Phoenix followed. Perth have the class and they bounce back well off a loss. The Kings have won three straight but they do not have the upside of Perth.

Boom Outsider
Cairns ($3.25) at Illawarra
This will be the third meeting between the Taipans and Hawks in 21 days and though the Hawks have won the last two, this looks a good spot for the much-improved Taipans. Though they went down by a point on Monday night to the Breakers, they came back from 26 points down. There is something there at Cairns and they are more than capable of going to Illawarra and beating the Hawks.

Boom Total
Over 170.5 Melbourne v South East Melbourne ($1.90)
Melbourne United have played in seven straight games where the total has hit at least 166 with six of those hitting 170. When these teams met in mid-December they tallied 180. Three of the last four Phoenix games have topped 175. The shooting is outstanding on both sides here.
