THURSDAY NBA BOOMS

Boom Best
Memphis -12 v Portland ($1.89)

Very happy to go back to the well with Memphis, who have not come close to letting Mr Boom followers down. The Grizzlies have covered 16 of 21 as a favourite and 22 of 29 off scoring 100-plus. They have covered four of five on a back-to-back and 23 of 32 off a win of 10-plus. Portland are now in a full rebuild and have covered just 9 of 28 on the road.

Boom Outsider
Oklahoma City ($3.30) v San Antonio
The Thunder have been cash money as an outsider of late. They have covered seven of their last nine as an underdog with four wins straight out over that run. Josh Giddey has been a revelation for Oklahoma City and can guide them over a Spurs team that have had mixed fortunes this year and were active in the trade period.

Boom Total
Under 214 Boston-Detroit ($1.90)
The Celtics sailed over the total yesterday when smoking the undermanned 76ers but this is a big under spot for them. The under has hit in 20 of 26 when Boston are off scoring 125-plus and 8 of 11 when favoured. The under has hit in seven of the last 10 Detroit road games and has been particularly strong when they have met elite home teams.
Boom-o-meter: 85%
