Boom Best
Maori All-Stars +6.5 ($1.90)
There is no doubt that the Indigenoius All Stars have two notable advantages – speed out wide and playmaking talent – but there is little question that this line is too large. These outfits have met three times and the Maori have a win and a draw in the last two. The Maori certainly come into this with a deeper and more formidable pack and that has been central in the last two meetings. The plus is an exceptional bet.

Boom Total
Over 44.5 ($1.90)
Last year’s All Stars game managed to tally just 20 points but the two previous hit 46 and 48 and the anticipation with good weather is that this is another that will go over the total. It is worth noting that both teams seem high on attacking capability but there are some obvious defensive deficiencies in both.

Boom Tryscorer
Briton Nikora Anytime ($3.75)
Maori edge forward Briton Nikora is an excellent line-runner who has a strong tryscoring record of 17 tries in 62 games. Edge forwards have scored in three of the last four and aside from Indigenous tryscoring machine David Fifita, Nikora looks the most likely.
