Boombet Wednesday Racing Booms

Best of the Best

Gawler Race 1 (2.10pm)
2 Street Swagger
Dan Clarken 3yo who was a big trial watch fresh and ran very well on the back of a strong market lead but found one better. Todd Pannell is arguably the best hoop in SA and in a small field that counts for plenty.

Ipswich Race 5 (4.23pm)
7 Milarnese
The stable obviously has a strong view of this one with the 4yo mare heavily backed in both starts. Debuted with a nice run at the Sunshine Coast but key was resuming here, jumping well and blitzing them. Looks highly promising.

Warwick Farm Race 6 (5.15pm)
8 Overlord
Beautifully bred out of the classy Red Tracer. Does not win out of turn but rarely runs a bad race. Just missed last time here. Placed two of three at the trip. Will be right in the mix here in a very winnable midweek race.

Former Victorian who has had three runs out west./ Won fresh and been sound last two including a placing in C3 company. Love the switch to Paul Harvey in the saddle. Sharp improvement expected.

Best Exotic
Belmont Race 5 (5.19pm)
1,2 Quinella
No.2 Henchard is the clear standout in this race as the best galloper. Beaten just 0.6L in 3yo plate company before a spell. No.1 Probity is a consistent type coming off a very good run and was not disgraced in $125k company two starts back.
