Doomben Race 8 (5.33pm)
14 Deep Sceiva

Quality Robbie Heathcote mare who never runs a bad race. Never missed a place fresh and comes into this off two very good trials. Best work has come here and she goes well at the trip. Wide draw the only concern.

Boom-o-meter: 65%

Caulfield Race 9 (5.40pm)
2 Tuvalu

Highly promising Lindsey Smith 4yo who has yet to finish out of the quinella in six starts. Won his last two and was off the map even at deep odds-on when $1.50 into $1.28. The only horse to have beat him is I’m Thunderstruck, who has since won the Golden Eagle and G1 Toorak.
